Grants

UNITED WAY OF CENTRAL IOWA: $25,000 AWARDED

This grant was used to provide technology for a resources area to help our clients file for
food stamps, copy IDs & needed documents for certain applications, use the internet for
housing options, charging station for phones, mac books/iPad’s for our partners to use while helping clients. Just one example would be;
Every Tuesday from 12:30-2:30, Warren County General Assistance can now work out of our facility with better client & technology access.

Our partnership with them is amazing! Included in the $25,000 grant was infrastructure to install a new, high level Hillyard cleaning system & a janitorial staff with conservative pay & hours. This is all in order to provide a daily, clean & safe facility for staff &
clients. We also funded a monthly program furnishing fresh fruits, vegetables & supplies
such as personal care products... We gave away over 9,000 products in the last 18 months!
