Dear Operation Christmas friends,
The holidays are nearly here! We are so grateful to be part of a community that has stepped up to support thousands of children and families over the past 40 years. That’s 40 years of children waking up to gifts under the tree, parents experiencing the joy of shopping for their kids, and families gathering to enjoy a holiday meal together.
In 2024, Operation Christmas provided gifts for 600 children and meals for 216 Warren County families. This year, the need is even greater. Our partners at Helping Hand have seen nearly twice as many new families seeking support each month compared to last year. Rising food and gas prices are adding to the financial stress for parents already working hard to make ends meet. Your support will help ensure holiday gifts for their children aren’t another source of worry.
Because of this growing need, we are asking those who are able to consider increasing their gift this year. Your donation will ensure that parents can pick out meaningful gifts for their kids, families can share a warm meal, and the holidays can be a time of joy instead of stress.
Operation Christmas is entirely volunteer run, which means 100% of your gift goes directly to
making the holidays special for local children and families. Our goal is to raise $50,000 by October 31st to meet this year’s need. You can make an online donation: warrencountyhelpinghand.com/operation-christmas. Checks can be made payable to The Helping Hand of Warren County/Operation Christmas.
